Role Description
- Deliver automated processes within a cross functional collaborative team using an Agile delivery methodology to continually enhance and optimize the industry vertical solution offerings and to service clients that are implementing complex automation programs
- Design RPA process solutions in accordance with standard RPA design principles and conventions and prescribed RPA architecture
- Build new RPA processes and using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand
- Document process and procedural specifications in process design documents and technical design documents including test plans, end user training material, configuration documents and production solution support documents
- Support existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process
- Identify and solve issues (configuration, integration, and security) that arise in day-to-day running of RPA processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant robotic process automation (RPA) development experience
- Ability to configure and deploy process automation modelling/scripting solutions in multiple RPA platforms from the leading vendors: Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism – is required. Automation Anywhere experience is strongly preferred
- Experience automating Windows applications is very nice to have
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
- A passion for building robust and reliable technology
- Ability to define and understand business processes and workflows – experience using Excel, Visio and other reporting tools
- Clear understanding of how KPIs translate into SLAs for measuring process performance
- Automation Anywhere Certified Developer Accreditation a plus
- Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Prior knowledge of process mapping and process re-design
- Experience working within a collaborative team structure to achieve results with specific focus on the customer experience
- An understanding of formal change control procedures and disciplines
- Good collaboration skills applied successfully within teams as well as across other areas
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or relevant professional certificate(s))
